Round up the usual suspects. Casablanca
Here's Johnny! The Shining
Yo Adrian! Rocky
Stella! hey Stella! A Streetcar Named Desire
Hello gorgeous. Funny Girl
Mrs. Robinson, You're trying to seduce me. Aren't you? The Graduate
Say hello to my little friend! Scarface
You had me at hello. Jerry Maguire
Note: I originally had Yo Adrian before the Funny Girl line, but I just couldn't have that lovely line come after Stallone. A young Brando on the other hand...
Pluses about PopcornMaker:
- super user friendly
- intuitive
- straightforward
Issues with it:
- the name
- the wonkyness of uploading from youtube (video works sometimes, but not all of the time)
saving was weird and the "did I do all of this work just to have it not work now" is a real thought. Maybe my internet is just slow?It was totally my internet.
Fantastic. And I'm really looking forward to trying Popcorn Maker out with my Pop Culture crews this year, as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, just started seeing more and more of the crossed out lines showing up in blogs and online articles. Brilliant. I'll probably start over using it. Has me wondering . . . what if students had to use the crossed out line to create meaning in a story or other piece of writing? Thinking about the impact it could have on a persuasive essay or lab report . . . wheels are turning . . .
I know. It lets you see how someone's thinking has evolved.
